audience discovering legacies

My work has been featured on Matador Network, Buzzfeed, Thought Catalog, The Hungry Partier, and Beacon Media (22 Southern California newspapers) for the latter of which I also served as the Managing Editor for two years:

About my writing:

My goal is to make you feel as if you were there. Or at least make you wish you were there and book a flight, so you can experience the destination yourself. I want you to be able to feel what I’ve experienced, almost as if you were with me. I want to make you laugh, smile, cry. I want to entertain and educate you. I want to provide you with a 100 percent honest, firsthand account of the good and the bad, but always with a positive attitude.

As a journalist first and blogger second, I take pride in researching and fact-checking everything I write about. I only recommend things I personally have tried of which I am convinced are beneficial for my audience.

What people say about my writing:

“I had tears in my eyes reading this.”

“Your story is hilarious but your ability to make your story come alive with your writing , that’s art.”

“I’ve started following your page only recently and I must tell you I end up clicking on most links […] cuz the pegs are mostly personal and interesting! Add my name to the list of people you’ve inspired, with this post.”

People who have worked with me say this:

“Dear Jennifer! Open-minded, interested, and eager for knowledge – yep, that’s how I’d describe you. It was a pleasure to take you back to “gone and forgotten times” with me. It was fun walking with you. But I also want to THANK you! On my way to becoming a freelancer, you were by my side. My guests and I will profit from this. If you’re ever in Hamburg again, you’re definitely invited! All the best on your journey!” – Sandra Latussek, Vergangen und Vergessen (Hamburg walking tour)

“Working with Jennifer has been a pleasure for Tourist Israel. Jennifer is very professional and reliable and the communication with her has always been quick, easy and very pleasant. Her article was published promptly and without us needing to follow-up – something we highly appreciate. We thoroughly recommend working with Jennifer, if you get the chance.” – Franziska Falkenberg, Tourist Israel

“My company, Flavors of Paris, is often contacted by bloggers. It was obvious from the beginning that Jennifer is very professional. When she first emailed me she presented her credentials, and very responsive to my questions. She followed up by publishing the article in a timely manner. Many thanks to Jennifer for finding us, and for the great article.” – Lisa Rankin, Flavors of Paris

“Jennifer is a joy to communicate with. Within days of her return to LA she had written a blog piece and had mentioned our Forgotten London tour in three separate publications! Word of mouth is key for my business, and she has helped to reach out to more potential travellers. Thanks!” – Matt Gedge, Fun London Tours
